Vecta has witnessed a very significant failure rate in new tower top RF components used in cellular systems. With over one year of testing involving greater than 80 samples from many suppliers, the failures have been categorised into major and minor, electrical and mechanical, and into groupings of failure modes.

Independently measured hard reliability and performance information of this type is essential to manufacturers and network operators, to enable proactive management of these tower top quality issues.

Vecta enables the problems to be identified, accurately measured and rectified before installation. Without this, the solution may demand expensive and logistically difficult rectification on the tower.
